HI and welcome,More information is needed to be able to help you further. Are you claiming DLA or PIP?Are you receiving any student loans? Are you a full time or part time student?Do you have any dependent children?Do you rent your home or live with parents?Sorry for all the questions but students and benefits are extremely complicated. This link may also help you further.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help. -

If you've worked and paid enough NI contributions in the tax years April 2016 - 2017 and April 2017 - 2018 and you're not fit to work then you maybe able to New style ESA, with a fit note from your GP. If you haven't paid enough NI contributions then you won't qualify for this benefit. The only other benefit you could claim is Universal Credit but as you're living with your partner then you'll need to claim this as a couple. Whether you'll be entitled to anything will depend on income/savings and capital. If you're claiming any maintenance loans for the college course then this will also be classed as income for UC purposes, as well as your partners income from working. Whether you'll be entitled to anything will totally depend on circumstances.Students and benefits are extremely complicated, therefore i'd advise you to speak to either an advice agency near you or your college may have some information for you regarding benefits.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please.
