Hi @Josehine74 - Welcome to the community. I'm sure it can't be easy with the problems your children face. This is a very supportive & friendly community where we share & care about each other, so I'm very pleased you have joined us all. There are parents here with the problems you have whom I hope you meet. Here's a link to Scope's section on Autism & Asperger's for a start: https://community.scope.org.uk/categories/learning-disabilities-and-autism
Please join in if you wish on any posts. Hope to see you around, or just chat here.

Hi @Josephine74. It sounds like you've got a lot on your plate. Has your daughter ever tried these resources from Mind on managing self-harm in the short and long-term at all?
It must be incredibly difficult to see your daughter going through such a difficult experience and I completely understand why you might feel that sense of helplessness.

As a disability equality charity, it's fair to say that our strengths lie more in the daily lives of disabled people than tackling complex mental health issues such as BPD. That said, it sounds like you need some support and if it would be of use to you, we'd be more than happy to try and advocate for some by way of a social care referral. If this would be something you'd like to pursue, please get in touch with us by emailing the community inbox at community@scope.org.uk
