Hi, can someone help me please, I’ve received a letter from DWP informing me they’ve received all information about my PIP claim after my face to face assessment, it also stipulates there are other benefits I could possibly claim Such as housing benefit and ESA. Can someone please tell me if this is a standard letter they send to everyone as I had my face to face assessment nearly 3 weeks ago and now feel that I’m not going to be awarded it even though I was awarded DLA indefinite 20 years ago. Thank you...

Hello and welcome, this is a standard letter, the criteria for claiming DLA and PIP are different, and you will have to wait for the official award confirmation letter. You can request a copy of your assessment report and on receiving it you can workout what you're award may should be but you still have to wait for the official award confirmation letter which can take 8 weeks or more to arrive with the Christmas and new year holidays.
