Hi @Billyslharris - Welcome to the community, Billy, 'tho I'm very sorry to read about the difficulty you're facing as regards your unsuitable housing. Have you had an Occupational Therapist assess your needs, or do you have an advocate that may also help you?
Depending upon where you live, VoiceAbility may be able to help with advocacy. See: https://www.voiceability.org/
I will also ask my friend @thespiceman to advise here, as he has a wealth of understanding about organizations that offer advice for mental health, & some that not only offer support, but can also advocate for you.

Hi @Billyslharris and a very warm welcome to the community! I'm sorry you are currently not in suitable housing.

Here is information on getting more suitable accommodation and moving house which you might find useful.

    Sources of housing advice

    • Shelter offers free, confidential advice to people with all kinds of housing problems.
    • Habinteg is a housing provider offering and promoting accessible, adaptable and affordable homes.
    • The House Shop allows you to find, buy, rent or sell accessible homes that have been built, adapted or modified for wheelchair users.
    • Accessible housing in Wales is a list of housing resources if you live in Wales.
Also, have you seen an occupational therapist at all? They may be able to provide equipment to make things a little easier.

Please do let us know how you get on.
