Hi @supermummy1990 - I would just like to welcome you to this very supportive community. Thank you for your lovely introduction about your 'little hero, ' 'tho I'm sorry to read about the difficulties she's facing at school.
I was going to suggest that you look at other sections of the forum, but I see you have already done that! However, I see that Steve has posted some hopefully helpful information.

@supermummy1990 - You are most welcome. You & your little girl deserve all the help you need. Have you talked to her school about the difficulties she's currently having? Please, if you have any questions yourself, please say, as hopefully there'll be somebody here who understands, or can advise.

Have you spoken to the school's SENCO? My (very limited) understanding is that they should be able to help even without a diagnosis.
My apologies beforehand if I'm sending you information you already know, but sending 'just in case.' See: https://www.gov.uk/children-with-special-educational-needs
A member of the Scope team may be able to help you further, & I can ask tomorrow. The more they know about your situation, the easier it may be for them to help.
You might also explore the following link about Scope's 'Navigate' support which could help you as her Mum. See: https://www.scope.org.uk/family-services/navigate/

hiya I have spoke to the senco as shes the one telling me to push for diagnosis I know they are able to do more but they just don't seem to be I don't even know exactly what support  she gets now and changing her school wouldn't be a option without a echp or atleast a support plan in place as she is going to either need 1 to 1 or a specialist school I have applied for the navigate programme thank you so much

It's great to hear you've applied for the Navigate programme @supermummy1990, they'll hopefully be able to support you while going through the diagnosis process for your little girl. Some of the Navigate team (such as @Beverley_Scope and @Emma_Scope) do pop on to the community so might be able to offer you some advice here as well.

Your daughter's school should definitely be offering support even without a diagnosis. Do you have any meetings planned with the school SENCO?

Hiya thanks for your response I have had a meeting with school senco they did a speech and langue referral and told me she was trying hard and things where ok till they get the diagnosis but  then sent me a senco report last week which totally contradicted every  thing they said and shows she over two years behind educationally struggles with social situations at school  I am requesting another senco appointment but will take a while as the last one took 3 month's to get sorted

    Hi @supermummy1990

My name is Beverley and I am one of the parent advisers for the navigate service.  I am so sorry to hear of the issues that you are having with the school with regards to your daughter.

Children do not need to have diagnosis to receive support from a school.  As long as your daughter is not progressing as she should then support can start to be put into place.  This is often called a graduated response where the school first of all puts in internal support and reviews it.  If after reviewing the plan, progress is still not being made, the school may move onto the next level where they start to seek outside advice.  This should also be monitored and reviewed.  If there is still no progress then the school may go down the EHCP referral route.

At all times during this process, you have every right to see any information on your daughter and to be honest, any individual plans for support should really be shown to you anyway.

I can see that you have applied to our service and so you should get all of the support that you need to help you understand the different processes that should be put in place for your daughter.

In the meantime, this is a good site for information - https://www.ipsea.org.uk/Pages/Category/how-should-your-nursery-school-or-college-help

Hope this helps and you get the support you need.
