I am 69 was soldier for 16 half yrs was one of first on sts in Belfast did 6 tours plus stationed there so 4 yes al told was shot in r groin legs in 82 suffered other injuries during service left early chemical poisoning killed l leg so have PTSD had up on bowel after heart attack then another on op table

After that was told have heart failure 6 months to live and cardiomyopathy still had a lot of falls 2012 7 times in hospital then wife died 47 yrs together had complete breakdown taken 2 odd yrs recover not fully need advice mental health and diet registered 66% disabled by army

Regarding mental health.

All offer the floating support, guidance, advice with your mental health. Looking at well being, health any thing else can help with. Benefits, form filling in assistance assessments.
Might not be in all areas. You can self refer or speak to GP.
A part of my own health history is looking at diet, nutrition and wellbeing. Have mental health addiction history.
Advise on any thing addiction being clean for twelve years, help any members community.
Qualifications in Understanding Health Part 2 and some others.
Add a lot of foodie things, recipes and ideas.
Also happy to answer any questions any advice or guidance.
Please if I can suggest every local county council has a community health unit.
A wellbeing service assisting those with disabilities and mental health.
Used them when after addiction diet needed to be looked at, one to one support worker.
Sign up discuss what they can do and also if you not happy can leave.
Worth doing for many reasons often have courses on for a range of lifestyle issues.
All free including relaxation therapies, stress, sleep, medication.
Other topics with diet health. Cooking on budget.
