Hi I have been trying to find something out, but having no luck, where I live they do not allow pets, I was wondering with all my problems, if I went to the doc and asked about therapy pets, or where else would I go, to ask, as I been staying at my friend house and she got a cat and 4, 3 weeks old kittens, and I have notice how much it has helped me, any help would be grateful

Hi @kirsty18 I've also looked into therapy pets and the info I found was that other than guide dogs they arnt recognised in the UK yet?
I'm sorry that where you live will not allow pets.
I was just wondering wether that was dogs and cats only, I know most landlords are funny about those.
Would you be able to get permission for something caged so no risk of damage to the house?
Just wondering as I personally find a small tank of fish extremely relaxing to watch and reduces stress.

Pets As Therapy do have visiting dogs and cats so they would be a good place to start. Only thing, I am not sure if they do visits to individuals homes, but well worth asking them.
