Hello, I have my review coming up, and now I am able to leave the house once or twice a month with my mother or sister, but still not by myself whereas before I couldn't at all due to mental illness. Would they probably stop mobility payments? Thanks

    HI,

Going out once or twice a month shouldn't have any impact on your award but that will depend on what award you currently have. Having said that, although a lot of people claim PIP successfully without an problems when you do receive those forms you should treat it as a new claim and fill out the form with as much information as possible. Then add a couple of real life examples of what happened the last time you attempted that activity for each descriptor that applies to you.

Expect another face to face assessment because most people have them. Send relevant evidence with the form to support your claim because they rarely contact anyone for evidence.

Reviews are currently taking place 6 months before the award is due to end and not 12 months before like they used to.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.
