I have been on standard mobility and living allowance of pip
I am housebound and want to try and get enhanced mobility for a car
will I risk what I’ve already got if I ring and ask for the increase
I didn’t do it earlier as I’ve been too ill

HI and welcome,There's always a risk in reporting a change of circumstances and yes you could lose everything you already have by doing this. You will be sent more forms and another face to face assessment is most likely. If you could answer Ami's questions above then that will be helpful.0

Thanks I thought that was the case x0

My situation has worsened since I was awarded standard pip in may0

May I ask how long your current award is for?0

2years0

OK, @poppy123456 has it deceeased from 1 year to 6 months, before the award ends, that the claimant receives the review form?0

If it's Tribunal DWP will contact you 14 weeks before the award is due to end.@seashell 2 years doesn't really help. When does your award end and were you award by DWP or Tribunal?Has your condition got worse? if so have you looked at the PIP descriptors to see if you could score more points.0

Yes I only need 1 more points for enhanced
was awarded by DWP0 -
Sport 2 more points
it runs out in 17 mths0 -
It's not as easy as that to claim the Enhanced mobility. It depends how your conditions affect you. Yes, you do risk losing everything you already have.

Yes I’m aware of that
but on my award letter they put for tha ‘planning’a journey bit that I had no problems and awarded me 0
this is incorrect0 -
That will totally depend on how your conditions affect you and i have no idea on that. If that activity doesn't apply to you then you won't score any points for it.When was the decision made on that award?0
