I've helped a homeless person by giving home a small amount of money so he can get a hot drink.
I also took half hour of my time to actually speak to him, and have advice on where he could seek help. ?

Hi @Tammyjane33, what a lovely thing to do! I'm sure they'll really appreciate that!
I've finished reading my first book of 2020.3 -

Very nice one Tammy. Sure they appreciated the time you spent with them.
I'm doing something positive tomorrow, but it will only benefit me2 -

The post above this was aimed at you but hit the wrong button! Everything so small when the internet's via a mobile phone.
Sorry @Chloe_Tear, you may be trying to work out that message.2 -
Joined this site.. I had only been on 15mins and found a helpful link to some weighted cutlery. Also registered for the support to work programme through this site.7

I`ve booked a week`s respite....for February. My hubby smiled when I told him he`ll be `on leave` from looking after me!

Be nice to get away from it all for a while now wont it. Social services, dwp, etc etc.
Have an absolutely great break x3 -
Thankyou to you all for replying. All that everyone has stated above is an achievement whether you've done something for someone else or for yourself.
Doing things for others is lovely and rewarding but doing something for yourself is also equally important.
I believe self care is very important. If you don't take care of you then how can you do something to help another human being.
Doing positive things is good because we feel we have achieved something and boosts our self esteem.
Well done to you all.

What's everyone's positive thing this week?
Mine is that we are going on a walk on Saturday. It's a nature reserve so will be a great opportunity to use the camera lens that I got for Christmas.2 -
@Chloe_Scope
That sounds brilliant, sounds like my kind of thing.
My positive highlight of the week was the same as last weeks!2 -
Amazing @Franstrahan! It is so lovely to be around nature!

Mine is getting myself back on this site! After about 12 months of more health probs and depression, it is lovely to be back and able to join in conversations - already enjoying finding my way back around and joining in the coffee lounge!4

So great to have you back with us @ClaireSaul!! I'm sorry to hear it's been a rough 12 months for.
I look forward to seeing you around.1 -
I`ve just tidied up and sorted what`s to bin, from a pile of correspondence, appointment letters, results of care plans , PIP stuff and boy does it feel good!
I feel like the anxiety of the last 4 months has had a line drawn under it and it`s over! I can breathe!
Yaaay!
