Can anybody tell me if they have been told to be available for a telephone appointment with DWP ?I am currently appealing their decision after medical assessment, and being found fit for work !!! I am waiting for a date to attend a tribunal and feel very anxious about this interview ,any help would be very much appreciated.

    Hi and welcome,

Did you receive a letter regarding this? I’m wondering if it’s a compliance interview and not regarding the fit for work decision you’re appealing. Please check the letter to see exactly what it says.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

Hi poppy no letter just a message on my uc account saying I need to be available for this interview and it's to check I'm on the correct amount of universal credit!!As I'm on the basic rate of £317 a month I don't understand how this can change unless I win at the tribunal .Thanks so much for getting back to me ,I'm finding all this overwhelming at the moment .

It sounds like a compliance interview to me, i've heard of others receiving messages like this on their journal and it's been a compliance interview. It's either just a random check or someone's reported you for something, if it's the latter and you've done nothing wrong then you have nothing to worry about. Sorry i can't be anymore specific than this.
