I've helped a homeless person by giving home a small amount of money so he can get a hot drink.
I also took half hour of my time to actually speak to him, and have advice on where he could seek help. 😊

Doing things for others is lovely and rewarding but doing something for yourself is also equally important.
I believe self care is very important. If you don't take care of you then how can you do something to help another human being.
Doing positive things is good because we feel we have achieved something and boosts our self esteem.

A decent toilet seat is a VERY important achievement in all families!
Mine is that we are going on a walk on Saturday. It's a nature reserve so will be a great opportunity to use the camera lens that I got for Christmas.

4- Had a clear out. I shredded photocopies of old test results and hospital appointment letters as well. I also got rid of old clothes and toys the kids never use.

Hand sewing is tricky too, but I can operate my electric sewing machine, using one hand to press the foot motor on the table, and the other to guide the fabric.
Ok, it wouldn't be up to a lot of people`s standard, but it's fine for me.

This week I managed to stay calm... biggish deal considering my manager had a blazing row with our CEO and walked out. No notice period, he's gone. I now have no manager and my probation meeting is next week... Wish me luck!

We were going to do it in the spring anyway. I have all the supplies needed for the ceremony. Tomorrow is Sunday. I already informally baptised her on the second day of her life but it was a rushed ten minute affair with only me, my partner and her.
