Welcome to the community @nab786 as you would be going through the appeal process, you will be unable to make a new claim.

It can vary but it's quite common to take up to or over a year unfortunately.

    HI,

You can start a new claim BUT doing this will mean that any decision made on your new claim will overrule the decision a Tribunal makes. Starting a new claim using the same evidence will likely see another refusal. Even though the Tribunal will not take into consideration a worsening of condition i wouldn't advise you to start a new claim.

Waiting times for hearings are huge in most areas and some are waiting as long as 1 year for a hearing date.

Hi I went to citizen advice bureau so dey can help me with appeal n represent my case but I would also attend hearing if needed but dey said dey don't represent for pip tribunal in my city? This whole scenario is stressing me out I failed pip mr as caseworker said even though I'm in chronic pain because I done physical examination their r no restrictions to my daily needs even though during my examination I told assessor I'm in pain I cannot do it she contradicted everything I said x

CAB don't always represent now because they don't have the funding to be able to do this. This link will help you find what's local to you. https://advicelocal.uk/

What happened during the assessment and what was said in the report isn't important now. What matters is where and why you think you should have scored those points. This is what the Tribunal will want to know.
