Hello. My husband has MS and has recently started using a wheelchair more regularly. We live in West Sussex and have an eight year old daughter. We’d like to meet other families like us. I don’t feel my daughter and I know anyone who can relate to the situation we’re in. Do Scope run local events for families or does anyone know of other organisations I could contact? (MS Society don’t do much in our town and I’ve ruled out Carers’ Support Network as I don’t feel I’m a carer.) I really need to talk to someone who understands and I don’t want to bother friends and family.

Hi @SimoneW - Welcome to the community & thank you for joining.I wonder if the Multiple Sclerosis Trust may be helpful. See: https://www.mstrust.org.uk/or the National Multiple Sclerosis Society: https://www.nationalmssociety.org/In Southwick there's a MS Centre. See: https://mssussex.com/services/social-activities/ this info was from MS-UK : https://www.ms-uk.org/I hope you might find further information from some of the above.
