Hi and welcome,It's not guaranteed that everyone will catch it. My advice is to tell him to make sure he washes his hands often or uses hand sanitiser if you can get it. Being sensible and take precautions is really all anyone can do. There's plenty of advice on the internet if you search. This may help.

Hello and welcome, We are all worried about either catching it ourselves or our loved ones, especially those with underlying conditions. That is why those around them should be extra cautious and follow all the advice given.0

Hi @Becsmama and welcome to the community.
Unfortunately we're unable to give medical advice here. @Richard_Scope our resident CP information officer may be able to advise, but you should try and speak to your GP about your concerns.0 -
Hi @Becsmama,
How are you and your son? There is heightened anxiety amongst the majority of the population and this is completely understandable. I completely agree with @poppy123456, ensure that your son washes his hands with soap and water or hand sanitiser. I am also going to put a link which gives advice regarding social distancing from the government.
https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/covid-19-guidance-on-social-distancing-and-for-vulnerable-people/guidance-on-social-distancing-for-everyone-in-the-uk-and-protecting-older-people-and-vulnerable-adults
I hope that this helps and please let us know if there is anything else we can do. Please take care and look after yourself and your family. Thank you.

Hi @Becsmama, Good to meet you and thank for your post during this stressful time. The government has used blanket advice to cover a very individual condition like cerebral palsy. It would be very difficult to tailor advice to suit everybody and every situation. As @poppy123456 and @WestHam06, have mentioned hygiene and social distancing is vitally important. The at-risk groups that need to isolate for 12 weeks can be found on the NHS COVID-19 Conditions page.Becsmama said:Am worried about how Corona virus could affect my 13 year old boy who has Cerebral Palsy

1.5 million people that are in the at risk group are being sent a letter in the next couple of days. If you are one of those people, you will have this letter.
