edited March 2020 in PIP, DLA, and AA
Last week I was asked to contact DWP to apply for PIP to replace DLA I have been getting .
The package came today and has to be completed and returned by 20th April

How am I supposed to get supportive letters etc from GP and hospital consultants  when I am in self isolation because of covid19 virus ?

Being a high risk of  this virus because of my health conditions and age ,I will be 70 in October.
I am unsure of what to do .

Is anyone  else in the same predicament?

    HI and welcome,

Your DLA award should contine and you should receive an extension to send the form back because all reviews, transfers from DLA to PIP and face to face assessments have been suspended for at least 3 months. Give PIP a ring in the morning so they can confirm this with you. Do be aware though that waiting times on the phone may have increased significantly.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.
