You've made your favourite hot drink, but what's your of biscuit choice?

White background with a cup of tea in a mug and a cookie next to it

You might be a coffee and cookie kind of person...

Or maybe you'd go for a traditional custard cream...

What is your favourite biscuit? Why is it the best? Let us know in the comments below!

Bonus points for sharing your beverage of choice!

Chocolate Hobnob. They can handle a good dunk without disintegrating into your brew.

I'm afraid @Richard_Scope has given the only correct answer. It has to be a chocolate Hobnob, but I'll also accept a Bourbon (of the biscuit variety) if you have one, as they're generally milk-free which buys you quite a bit of goodwill in my house.

    I love homemade biscuits.

As a young child I used to have a biscuit or two with a cup of water for a very light snack mid morning before lunch. Now I tend to have a biscuit at night with a warm drink like a cup of cocoa, hot chocolate in the winter or a cold drink like iced tea in the summer. Or a cup of mulled wine at Christmas. I have also had biscuits and lemonade in the past.

I love dipping my biscuit into a bowl of hot soup which is fresh out of the microwave as well. Biscuits also go well with wine. Good question! You should try having coffee and biscuits or biscuits with a lovely drink of hot tea in addition. Biscuits pair well with anything really however I have found. Even it can be eaten with some ale, whisky or beer if you so desire. We are a biscuit loving nation. What is your favorite biscuit? Biscuits really are the ultimate versatile snack of all time.
