Hello every body music every morning the start the day.

Helps me to get over the depression and all the talk of COVID 19.

Never watch news had Radio on every hour more and more news depressing.

Classic FM love it but need a boost so this my therapy music.

List of feel good uplifting music.

That's Life Frank Sinatra

Fly Me to The Moon Frank Sinatra

Good Life Tony Bennett

Rags to Riches Tony Bennett

Cant Take My Eyes Off You Andy Williams

Happy Heart Andy Williams

Music to Watch Girls Go By Andy Williams

I'v Gotta Be Me Sammy Davis Jnr.

Something Got To Give Sammy Davis Jnr.

Get Happy from Summer Stock Judy Garland

Then Impossible Dream Sammy Davis Jnr version great.

Like show tunes the musicals as well does help my moods.

In a time like this what you play the cheesy the Sixties the ones songs we all think no but sing it out to your hearts content and gives a reason to move on.

Obscure the better, in the Forties and Fifties artist called Ethel Merman done lots of Broadway stuff and musicals .

Favourite story performed a show got a heckler went down into the audience removed him out of the door returned  came back on stage started singing.

Got No Business Like Show Business.  Which is a great Musical.

Belter and who can forget Barbara singing Do Not Rain On My Parade have two version Funny Girl and Bobby Darin as well versions all fantastic songs to get me motivated and moving.

Start of the day.

Music Therapy mine all day rarely have news on even my favourite foot stompers another list sometime.

This ways to help those suffering hope it helps you.

Please take care, safe and please send me your favourite lists look forward to that.

Hello @GalDriver   Thanks for sharing I do actually have a massive CD collection of Motown Stax and Soul.

Northern Soul play a lot. Nothing like to get a foot stomper start to the day .

Yes like Jazz Swing the old songs.

Motown is a vast spectrum of talent black yes but many white performers did cut some sides.

Have the following favourites some of these  these are not well known but are in Northern Clubs Soul nights many a time play these.

Something to look for. AMAZON sell a lot of these and worth the time purchased because Motown have opened the vaults at last once in a life time to get these.

    The list of following.

Think It Over Before You Break My Heart   Brenda Holloway

Baby a Go Go    Barbara Mcnair

Heaven Must Have Sent You    Elgin's

Two Can Have A Party    Tammi Terrell and Marvin Gaye

There's A  Ghost In My House R Dean Taylor

    Back Street Edwin Starr

You Can Do It Kim Weston

Crying In the Night  The Monitors

    Get Ready The Temptations

Aint too Proud Too Beg The Temptations

What More Can A Boy Ask For The Spinners

Just A little Misunderstanding The Contours

    Somethings Wrong Chris Clark

Can't Hold The Feeling Back Brenda Holloway

I'v Got To Get Away Tommy Good

Head Over Heels In Love With You Spinners.

    Just a small list  lol..

Seems lately lots of new CD's out there. Motown opening vaults for publications and issues worth looking.

Got a lot of the early history of Motown before it all began seriously.

If you are a collector a fan something to think about.

I have found out many new CD's to me .

    Keep the Faith best wishes.

Hello @Chloe_Scope   Good to hear thank you my friend.

With this COVID 19 decide every morning to play CD's up beat joyful and great toe tapping stuff.

Today Jazz and the old stuff Benny Goodman on now gets you dancing, strange looks from the neighbours who cares.

Got a bought a lot of CD's that under fiver each Amazon all Jazz Soul and the old songs from Singers probably you never heard of but are memories to me.

Lots of the songs were songs written masterpieces, so great to listen to.

We need music therapy, I do believe helps.

In some charities mental health ones bring in musicians who perform for great songs, some times get classical ladies or gents.  With violins and cellos etc.

Of course this helps a lot.

Please take care talk later no doubt sometime this week.

Some great music on here, @thespiceman.  I love Frank Sinatra too!  My favourite tunes come from the 80's, Wham, Duran Duran, Culture Club, etc as this really cheers me up and sets me up for the day.  Like to unwind with some classical stuff and like Classic FM too.  Usually have Radio 2 on in the background when doing my crafts as really soothing.  Music certainly can lift our spirits, especially so during these times.

I use headphones plugged into the laptop most the time @thespiceman, so I can listen to music without disturbing anyone! Not many people share my taste  :D
I mostly just listen to random things that come up on my Spotify playlist!

I rarely listen to anything music-wise that was produced in this millennium, which is why i still like to have a stash of good, old fashioned CD's to listen to in the car.

Northern Soul is my go-to choice of music.  Don't know if anyone has spotify.  I've only discovered this very recently and loved it so much that I've signed up for Premium.
