Been given priority but still can't get a delivery

I've had an email from Asda stating I'm a priority for delivery, my wife a nurse has also had the letter telling her to isolate, trying to get a delivery is still impossible, We're lucky as the Scottish gov send us basic food but we still need to order meats ,chicken and a load of other every day foods. Deliveries from Asda are booked well in advance so no chance getting priority. stores like Asda can only do so much in these trying times, so can't fault them for trying.

Hi this was my reply to people I seen posting and talking about deliveries for vulnerable due to covid 19 , not a go at shops or their workers. we're all in this together.1

Hi @Auldyin - Welcome to the community, & thank you for joining. It can be difficult booking a slot at the moment. I've found with Tesco that a few slots become available after midnight. Have you tried other supermarkets, or local resources? Please see some information here on Scope about food shopping. Also try looking for local volunteer groups that could collect some shopping for you: https://covidmutualaid.org/local-groups/I hope some of the info is helpful. Please let us know how you get on.

No Asda are the only company through the government scheme to contact me, we'll be fine but others on their own will struggle, our local store is booked for 2 weeks but as classed as vulnerable by the store we still can't get a slot. I'm more worried about others as we can get sorted.

Hello @Auldyin. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. I'm disappointed to learn that despite being acknowledged as requiring priority delivery slots you're still unable to access them.
