Hi all, I’m new to the site so not sure if this is the correct place to put a question I have but hopefully! I started receiving PIP daily living at the standard rate in December 2018. In September 2019 this was stopped which I appealed as my condition had not gotten any better but actually worse. It had to go to a tribunal & I have won the appeal thankfully! Not only have I won it, but I am entitled to daily living and mobility both at enhanced rate. I was just wondering if I would receive backdated payment from September 2019 or if they would be backdating from December 2018? Thankyou!

The appeal would have been against the decision made in Sept 2019, so that's the date the backpay starts from.

You should receive a letter soon confirming the exact date that the award starts from, and a second letter stating the exact amount that you'll receive in backpay.  :)
