Hello
I am really new here and this is my first post.
I have applied for PIP as I have nf1 and a few other issues, has anyone gained PiP with my condition?

Hi @Cruella_loves_spots Welcome to the community.
PIP isn't about a diagnosis it is about how your condition affects you on a day to day basis with daily living and mobility.
Have a look at the descriptors and see where you think you would score some points and then decide if you think you should apply
Good luck and let us know if you need any help or support

Hi @Cruella_loves_spots - I agree with janer1967. Your diagnosis really doesn't matter so much as NF1 has variable expression, the same as many other disorders, genetic or not. In terms of incidence it's not that rare, unlike NF2.Here's a list of the descriptors, in case you haven't come across them.
