Motability refund during lockdown?

Hi @sueisumma and a warm welcome to the community!
Unfortunately this doesn't seem to be possible at the moment, although you are able to add another named driver if the current person is unable to do so at the moment.
Here is Motability's FAQ's around COVID-19 which they have been updating.0 -
Yes I agree. It costs a lot to pay for a car you are not using. I have had my lease for nearly 5 years and it is due to end in September. I would love to have the money instead of my car standing on the drive.0

Hi @littleacorn and @sueisumma. Motability have updated their FAQs to say:
With less traffic on the roads as a result of the lockdown, will I be eligible for a refund from my Scheme insurance?
Yes, as lockdown has led to fewer drivers on the road, the Scheme is seeing a lower level of claims, enabling it to share this saving with customers. We have made this decision in consultation with Motability, the Charity. As a result, we are set to send an insurance-based refund of £50 to all customers.

I appreciate my £50, it's a lot of money to me

I don't know what I will do with mine yet0 -
Hi all just thought I would post and let you know about motabilitys offer of £600.00 advanced payment This payment is normally issued when you return the car at the end of your lease in good condition.
It maybe something that would be of a interest to some of you.
I spoke with them recently and found them extremely helpful and supportive .1
