Hi all ,
Recieved my award letter today and even though I had my renewal telephone assessment on the 29th may , they said they have changed the amount from February ,
My question is Im confused at the end of all the letters it says
"Certificate" with a serial number and says "this is for you to be able to claim tax for your vehicle" it doesn't say about the mobility car ?
Does anyone know why ?
And thanks again x

Hi welcome to the community, congratulations on your award.
It is correct they will backdate your payment to when you applied not when you were assessed.
The certificate at the back is there as you will be entitled to free(or subsidised) vehicle tax dependant on your rate of award. The certificate is used when applying for road tax for either a private owned car or mobility car
Hope this helps
