So there I was walking back after a morning on my allotment when half way home my boots got 'caught' together and I fell over onto hard concrete. I was carrying a pair of shears home for repair in one hand and a bag of this and that in the other and I was wearing glasses. I hit the pavement hard and was unable to stop myself.
Here's the thing. Apart from a few sprains and other minor injuries including a horrible thick lip I am absolutely ok. These indeed are reasons to be cheerful.
I am grateful that so many people came to my aid and were kind and thoughtful.
