Hello everyone, I'm new here. I have a six year old beautiful boy recently diagnosed with Aspergers. I am desperate to talk to some other mums as most days I feel like I'm losing my mind and that I am the only one in the world doing this!

Hi @squishymum79 - & welcome to the community from me too. We have other parents here with children on the autistic spectrum, whom I hope you get to 'meet.' You're certainly not alone.May I mention that amongst the info Steve has sent, there's a supportive programme that Scope provides. Please see 'Navigate,' which several parents have found very helpful. Please see: https://www.scope.org.uk/family-services/navigate/ Please look into this, as both your lovely son & yourself can receive support. Please also use this forum to chat here any time, & kindly let us know how you get on, thank you.

Hi @squishymum79 Welcome to the community from me too, great to have you on board. There are lots of other members here with a similar situation to yourself so you are certainly not alone .
I look forward to seeing you around -
I just wanted to say welcome @squishymum79. I've also moved your thread into our parents and carers board so hopefully some other mums will see it.
As suggested above, if your son was diagnosed within the past year, you should definitely give our Navigate service a try. It also might be worth trying Parents Connect which is currently providing some of its service digitally.Community Manager
