I like a bit of distance between me and others ..it’s ok, I do a lot on my own.
I would love to live here in this tree house ..as long as I had food supplies I’d be happy ?
How about you ?  Be lovely waking up amongst the birdsong For me

 :)

I’d like to sit in a tree house just like that one and draw the wonderful trees. Write poetry inspired by the whispering breeze and sing along quietly with the bird song. Ideal.

Not really a treehouse person. But I don't mind having lunch in one however.

@serenity2 I would love that also. Peace and quiet with no neighbours, sounds good to me. I'd take it as a great photo opportunity.

I was born in London but we moved to a small town when I was 14. I have always found it a bit too quiet especially as I am now in an "old people's" area. I have always loved being in crowds and even now, with all the mental health issues, I still like to be around groups of people I know.

As for social distancing.... the recent pictures of beaches and other areas where people are crammed in together and from some pictures on FB that shows bars and pubs the same as they always were, with people clumping together I get the feeling that social distancing, if it hasn't already disappeared, won't be around for long.

yes we are all rather individual in our likes ..
I live close to London now...have found since I struggled with anxiety, I’ve become less social than I ever used to be..used to love socialising very much

yes I hear you about the beaches etc  :# it looked horrendous !

And a lovely day to you @serenity2.

I too suffer anxiety and also either panic attacks or paranoia when I get too anxious. Not very nice is it? However, I am stuck indoors permanently and have been for a couple of years, that status will never be changed I fear as I am soon going to have to go to bed and stay there almost all the time. I really miss other people to talk to and to have a laugh and joke with because I live completely alone and have done for a decade and a half now. Living in a cul-de-sac there is no passing traffic even and every home in the street is for over 60's or mildly disabled. The only real noise I get is children playing in the park a quarter mile away on the opposite of the field to me (the field is beyond my back garden). I even have a large garden I am not capable of using any more.

    Hi @Topkitten

Good Afternoon I do hope that you are feeling better????

Yes I live in a similar situation. I am also house/bed bound from time to time.

Things are also very very quiet once everyone has gone to work/college.

Please please let me know if there’s anything that I can help/support you with????

Ty @steve51 and @serenity2. I do not really get the benefits from using this site or others, I am very much a f2f person as much of what I understand about people comes from reading face- and body-language. Without such feedback I find it difficult to relate to others and often type something some find upsetting. I used to use the site a lot but now use it considerably less, partly due to it being more difficult for me to use a keyboard but mostly because things are so bad for me all I ever really do is complain about NHS and support systems that have let me down disastrously.

Hope you both had a good day.

    Hi @Topkitten
    good to hear from you.
agree f2f has advantages and I’m sorry you don’t get to see many people at all :(  and that it’s getting difficult to use this forum And a keyboard for you..
Thank you for taking time to reply, especially as it is challenging for you. That is very kind.
Sometimes life generally is a challenge. I find mornings a real challenge at times...and get to thinking what’s it all about  :/ luckily most days, as the day goes by , things can improve for me so I do feel lucky, I can take advantage of that.

sending some peaceful vibes your way.
    with every good wish
     :)
