i just want to give you all a update. a DM contacted me and said there going to do a paper based assessment .... she said I don’t have to worry about a phone assessment or in time going to a assessment so I’m chuffed! she said there going to be looking at my claim in the next few weeks. but she did say based on what I’ve seen I wouldn’t worry at all Chloe. enjoy your day, and she said my award review letter will be with me soon. so feeling positive. never known a DM to contact you. she was so lovely. so fingers crossed. thanks to the named above people you have all been amazing !!! thank you all for making me feel comfortable. x

Hi @ChloeHibbert - thank you for the update. Yes, it does all sound positive & I hope you get your letter soon.

Great news I too had DM contact me by phone made decision there and then
Hope your not waiting too long -
Thank you everyone. ? obviously I can’t say I’m definitely going to get it. but she did say on what she can see it will just be extended more than likely at the same award, is it normal for a DM to contact you? as I never thought someone would contact me. I sound like a silly girl but will ask anyway, if they have all the evidence they need why do they call? is that to make up there mind or get a better understanding of how your daily life affects you ect.

It does happen like I said it did with me they just asked me a few more questions based on my form and evidence

@janer1967 she was lovely, my mum said sounds like they will award it me. she said based on what I can see it will be awarded again at the same rate / length so that’s a positive sign I guess.
