I know there's Ransome Mobility in Suffolk but would think there must be at least one similar place in Norfolk. -
I wouldnt know where to start! I have found a garage who do adaptions who are at least prepared to enquire with mercedes if the model will fit.

In each area there are specialty companies that handle ALL Motability alterations. Very unlikely anyone else will have any experience. Something you should be aware of though..... all hoists have a load limit which must exceed (preferably with a good spare tolerance) the total weight of whatever you are using the hoist for (including battery if electric). You must also ensure that the boot size of the vehicle is spacious enough to give good clearance when swiveling in the item and placement is important for the same reason. You cannot fit it if the size of whatever hoisted requires the back seats lowered because they almost never go flat (excluding seats 6 & 7 in an MPV). Be aware that a restraint of some sort is highly recommended in case of an accident, you don't want whatever it is ending up in the front seats. I believe all that is needed is a 12v supply under, in or around the boot and the hoist MUST be earthed (not 100% sure about this last point).
