in Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)
Hello, I am just wondering how it takes currently for SDP to be backdated when it is meant to be given? I had the form sent for me stating I was entitled by the DWP to my local centre about four days ago.

    HI,

    When applying by post it can take 4-5 weeks, under normal circumstances.  When applying by phone it takes about 1 week.
    Once a decision's been made you'll recieve a letter.
    I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
    If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.
