our son and daughter in law visited us today to tell us the wonderful news of their forthcoming first child and our 6th grandchild.
The new arrival will be here approx February 2nd 2021 all going well.
We have 5 grandsons so fingers crossed.
They are having a gender reveal on Saturday. I said I'd rather wait for the birth as I always have before but whats the use when my wife and family will be there and at some stage shopping will give it all away lol.
So saturday it is.
I dont care what sex the baby is as long as mum and baby are both fine.
So looking forward to 2021 after such a terrible 2020
Feel like dancing now lol

Great news!
best wishes to all ?“This is my simple religion. No need for temples. No need for complicated philosophy. Your own mind, your own heart is the temple. Your philosophy is simple kindness.”

What great news @male45 - It might be your 6th grandchild, but your son's first baby is special. As you say, so long as baby & his/her Mum are fine, that's all that matters, & something to look forward to.

Congratulations to you janer. Doesnt matter if grandchild, our own child or niece or nephew
I think the arrival of the newborn will lift everyone's morale especially when so much news is not good at the moment.
So janer start practicing that baby talk is adults tend to do when we see the new baby
..im practising now
