I just been through a 4 week consultancy stage with my employment. I got redundancy this past Thursday. I'm bit overwhelmed at min I live on own and have Kytho-scoliosis and Respiratory 2 failure. I would like to find a job. And not sure where to go. I was in my job for just over five years

Hello @Sheree_8 and welcome to our online community.

I have responded to your other post about finding work and offered advice about Scope's support services that could help you find a job.  I'm sorry you are going through this unsettling time.  Where have you started looking already?

Hi @Sheree_8 - welcome to the community & thank you for sharing about yourself. I'm pleased you've joined as Scope has some info on looking for work with a disability, & also has a 'Support to Work' programme, which  I see Cher has just mentioned in your other post. I hope you find this helpful, & do chat here any time as well. :)

Get your CV updated as a first action there are plenty of templates on the internet to use

You may also want to register with some agencies or on jobsites like Indded as you can sey up your own profile and will get alerts about any new advertised vacanvies

@Sheree_8 You are doing a good job of getting to grips with replying to people, and well done on registering with the Support to work programme.

You might enjoy looking in our Coffee Lounge where we play games and talk about anything and everything.  Feel free to join in  :)
