What help can Scope provide with housing

I have attached a picture of the room that I left in February of this year (it's mould caused by a leak from the flat upstairs, upstairs fixed the leak but my landlord did nothing).
I went to my letting agency, who said I'd need to discuss repairs with the landlord.
I went to my local council, who said well you have a contract until 2021 so we couldn't start to try to find you anywhere and I was also informed that the council house waiting list was around 15-18 years. ??.
I was actually forced to leave the flat, as one of the flatmates left to go back to his country and left in January 2020.
Since then I've been between places, but I need help finding my own place, I don't think I could live in another shared house. Often I've had my former flatmate kicking my door open at 3am amongst other things.

Hi and welcome,I'd advise you to give shelter a ring tomorrow. See link for information. As i don't know where in the country you are, i've put a link to the main website for shelter, just click on the part of the country you are and it will take you to that webiste.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help. -
Amazing thank you, I am based in London.

@Chieng47 That doesn't look good and you shouldn't have to live in those conditions
I hope Shelter can help you moving forwards. Please keep us updated and let us know if we can provide any support.

In the end I had no choice but to leave, one of my flatmates left the country so we all had to go.
Does Scope have a housing department that i could contact (preferably by email) just so I can explain my situation in more detail. -
Hi and welcome to the community unfortunately we do not have a housing department we just offer advice and guidance to help support people and sign post them to places that can help
Have you looked into private rent though this can be a challenge if you are on benefits or if you are homeless then contact the council homeless team
As advised also contact shelter -
