Hi alaine, sorry to hear that. Are you currently receiving any advice and support from your GP or mental health professional? Are you on any medication?
Sometimes it helps to share your thoughts and get things off your chest. Is there anyone you can talk to? You can always chat to the friendly people here!
Take care. -
Hi @alaine - do you know what is causing you to feel so low just now? Are you still in touch with Mind, & were they able to help/offer support? How is your lovely little Rula doing....has she been snuggling up to you? I think our pets sense when we're not so good. I wasn't very well last weekend, & my cat, who is an outdoor girl, barely went out, & spent most of the time on, or close to me.

Life in general. Nephew awaiting gall bladder operation this month. My lovely hearing dog Rula is poorly with early heart failure. Vets and specialist are positive. Fed up with lockdown we are being good and not going out but feel I need to scream.

I'm sorry @alaine - that all must be difficult to deal with. Whilst it's unfortunate your nephew needs gall bladder surgery, this is routinely done, & sometimes just by keyhole surgery, so hopefully he shouldn't be in hospital long, & will quickly recover.I'm very sorry to read Rula is poorly. Vets are amazing, & there is so much they can do.I think many of us have found lockdown difficult. Have you been shielding?

Hi@alaine sorry to know you are feeling low. If you are on your own for long periods of time it can get you down. Why not just sit in the garden put on some relaxing music. I've noticed myself that entering into September and the months to come can be tough but you will get through it. Make sure you are eating well like vegetables and fruit. I wish you all the best.?

Hi @alaine
I'm sorry to hear you are feeling low and going through a difficult time.
How are you today?
I'm sure your nephew's operation will go well, as mentioned above it's routinely done so there should hopefully be no problem there.
It's a shame your dog isn't well, but I'm glad the vets have been helpful.
I can empathise with you regarding the lockdown, it has been a very challenging time, hopefully it will ease soon. Have you been in a local lockdown?

Hope your nephews op goes well and that your dog gets better soon -
