Has anyone else heard this? I struggle with several invisible disabilities which come which a wide range of complex symptoms. I manage to enjoy healthy relationships up into the point intimacy is concerned. After a while my partners stop wanting to have a physical relationship with me and things move into a platonic place. I do everything I can to keep the passion alive but it still doesn't seem to make a difference. I have communicated my boundaries around intimacy but again still no luck. Does anyone have any tips?

Hi I dont really have any suggestions but there are people you can talk to or seek help from relating to this
Search on google and you will find some useful groups
It isnt as easy as everyone makes out to keep the passion alive in any relationship once the honeymoon period is over -
Hi @SOPHS Thanks for sharing that with us.
Are you sure your partner's lack of interest in physical relations is linked to your impairments? Have you tried talking to him about it directly and asking what he thinks could help?
I understand this must be frustrating and for a lot of people expressing their sexuality physically is important to a good relationship. I think openness is key here and having multiple impairments shouldn't be a barrier to a sensual relationship, nor does it make you less sexy!
Good luck with this, let us know how you get on.Online Community Co-ordinator
