Willow12, as a matter of interest, would you mind telling me if you have been sent two swabs or only one for the test ? Thank you.0
-
@ oxonlady I received 1 testing kit as that's all I needed i mean i know people who have got them that don't need them which is bit unfair too others0
-
Oh sorry I mean 1 testing kit with 1 swab in only0
-
Sorry to hear you are showing symptoms must be worrying for you
Fingers crossed it isnt positive and you start to feel better
@Oxonlady I have had few tests as I am part of national office for statistics survey and there has only ever been 1 swab which you swab back of throat and inside both nostrils0 -
Not something you want to get the wrong way round...yuck..0

Hi Janer1967, I was sent the test kit by a research study but I was appalled that there was only one swab. I rang them and told them that there's no way I would do it, it's too unhygienic!
I get infections very easily, so I would not risk transferring pathogens from one area to another!
But that's just my view. Other people may not have much of a risk.0 -
@janer1967 thank you0

@willow12 Good luck. You are doing the right thing getting tested. Did you have any problems getting the test?
Keep us updated and I know it's easier said than done, but try to relax1 -
@Cher_Scope yes I had heaps of bother cher but it's been posted bk just waiting game now and thanks ?0

I know you only get 1 swab I know ppl may disagree with this but your ears nose and throat are all linked so I don't see a problem with it0
