One of my favourite things to do on a Sunday morning is read through The Times with a coffee and pastry. Although I like reading the news online I find its a different experience and relaxes me more
. The price of the newspapers can put me off though and the amount of adverts that drop out!
What about you?

Hi there I dont read any papers just catch up with news in tv0

I don’t but I can see how that could be relaxing.
If you don’t like the price and amount of adverts in the Times I can recommend a paper I used to buy, I think it was called “The i”. It was a minimalistic paper that I think was made by the same people that make the Independent and it was often good quality news without much bias. It was only 20p but may have gone up since I bought it.0 -
@66Mustang Oh I'll definitely look for that one, thank you!
@janer1967 Do you use social media to keep up with the news too? Twitter can be good for getting 'as it happens' updates.

I haven’t bought a newspaper for yonks, possibly twenty years!
these days I read it online or watch it on tv or both.
i enjoyed reading it when I was young however. I even had to read a French newspaper for a while once, ha ha. Et tu Rodney.

@leeCal
I watched the Jolly Boys episode of Only Fools and Horses the other day. Classic!
@janer1967 I don't blame you and I think that's a healthy approach
