Hi I’m wondering if there’s anyone out there that can give some insight into this and coping mechanisms used. Thanks

Hi @Vanessadexter - & welcome to the community. Do you have the support of your GP with this? If not, it might be an idea to let them know how you're feeling, as there are some medications that may help.Scope also has some resources, & altho this is because of the pandemic, there is a lot of info that may help with your anxiety. Please see the following link: https://www.scope.org.uk/advice-and-support/mental-health-and-coronavirus/As well as the resources listed in the above link, there's also the Richmond Fellowship, altho unfortunately this isn't in all areas. Please see: https://www.richmondfellowship.org.uk/Hope this helps, & do let us know how you're getting on, thank you.

Thanks, GP referred my daughter and she’s had a psych assessment. We’re trying the art therapy route instead of meds at this stage but as parents trying to nip this in the bud as quick as we can it’s not always an easy thing to do and can’t always be in the same room 24/7.
I will check out the links suggested thank you.
