I keep seeing things about peoples awards being looked at again due to incorrect points being awarded or something.
I have always received the higher daily part but never the mobility part.
Now my question is i always felt that my main issues were mental health due to tourettes syndrome causing huge anxiety.
So if people were to be given higher points would that possibly mean I would be looked at also ? As I was given 4 points I believe it was but now it's being said that the not being able to take a familiar journey due to overwhelming distress should of been considered.
Sorry for the long post I am not the brightest person and struggle to understand things.
Thanks again.

Hi,The changes to following and planning a jounrey took place a few years or more ago. If the decision on your award was made on or after 28th November 2016 then they will look at your award again, no assessment will be needed and once they've looked at it they will contact you. If a decision was made before this date then they won't be looking at your claim again.I was contacted a couple of years ago regarding this. I have no idea how far into this process they are though sorry. More information here. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/personal-independence-payment-changes/overwhelming-psychological-distress-and-journeys-changes-to-pip-law-from-28-november-2016
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.
