    is this what you refer to?

    Outside Greater London

    The benefit cap outside Greater London is:

    • £384.62 per week (£20,000 a year) if you’re in a couple
    • £384.62 per week (£20,000 a year) if you’re a single parent and your children live with you
    • £257.69 per week (£13,400 a year) if you’re a single adult

    Inside Greater London

    The benefit cap inside Greater London is:

    • £442.31 per week (£23,000 a year) if you’re in a couple
    • £442.31 per week (£23,000 a year) if you’re a single parent and your children live with you
    • £296.35 per week (£15,410 a year) if you’re a single adult
    or something else?

    Hi,

    I'm a little confused here because the title of your thread says " the fear of having your disability benefit reduced if you work" then you mention the benefit cap.

    If a person is claiming a disability benefit like DLA or PIP then they are exempt from the benefit cap. Also, if a disabiled person doesn't claim a disability benefit but earns more than £604 per month they are also exempt from the cap.
    I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
