I have gone to appeal regarding my work capability assessment. In july i was granted the standard rate of pip, they accepted I had physical difficulties but said re my mental health i had no supporting evidence despite sending in physciatric reports,on the 8th of october I had a wca and they accepted i had mental health issues but not physical issues,I sent exactly the same things to both assessment services. I know they are both different benefits,I have been put in the limited capability work group,I believe I should be in the higher group LCWRA. Is there any advice anyone can give me regarding the appeal.

HI,These are both totally different benefits, with totally different criteria. See the descriptors here for the LCWRA group. https://www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/universal-credit-uc/uc-faq/3904-limited-capability-for-work-related-activityThere's also a substantial risk, if the LCWRA descriptors don't apply to you. This is explained here. https://wcainfo.net/issues/substantial-risk-lcwraAnecdotal evidence will always be the best you can ever send, so i'd advise you to write soe recent real world example of what happened the last time you attempted that activity. Adding who was with you, where you were and a what exactly happened. It's also worth remembering that they will be looking at the work you can do, rather than the work you can't do.I'd aslo advise getting some expert advice, start here with that. https://advicelocal.uk/Hope this helps.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.
