carers Allowance and Unpaid Carers

Dear Community Members

Yesterday in Parliament the issue of Carers Allowance was raised by Liberal Democrat Leader ED Davey MP during Prime Ministers Questions but there was not a definitive answer from the Government and today of course has been carers awareness day. This is from the Yorkshire Evening Post

Thanks for sharing this. Is there any way you could summarise what the article says? It's not accessible for screenreaders, and I'm also struggling to read what it says as a sighted person.
