Hi
I'd like to find out what significant change of circumstances would cause the disability premium transitional protection that have come into place to end. To be more specific, would entering the workplace at earnings of around the monthly work allowance either with/without housing element cause these payments to end?

    Hi,

Claiming UC with a partner or a partner leaving your household, earnings that reduce your UC to zero, therefore your UC would end. If it ends it will not be applied to any future claims. See link for confirmation. https://www.entitledto.co.uk/help/Transitional-protection-Universal-Credit

Earnings around the level of your work allowance would not end your protection. Although do be aware that if the work you do contradicts the reasons for your claim they could reasses you early and the decision could go against you, once it's made.

I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.
