I’m living with Parkinson’s and have just been dismissed from my professional career of choice. I would like to hear from others who have experience with campaigning for Reasonable Adjustments.,

Scope has a webpage dedicated to all things reasonable adjustments. While there is another webpage about steps to take if your employers rejects a reasonable adjustment request.

I'm sorry to hear that you lost your job, what is your career of choice? I'm sure you will still be able to have a successful working life in whatever sector it is

Scope have a long history of campaigning for reasonable adjustments, and it's written in law that an employer should consider them. However, many employers sadly don't make accommodations for their disabled staff members, so there is always a case to campaign for the issue further.

If you are interested in getting back in to work, Scope have a range of employment services that you might be interested in.

Thats appalling but not surprising, employers are looking for any excuse to get rid of staff, could you sue them for unfair dismisal?
