Hi i am a carer for my sister with cerebral palsy. She is wheelchair bound. We used to struggle getting holidays that were accessible. I have a strong passion for travel and Recently became a travel agent. Since this i have found lots of holidays that are friendly and even better places that hire equipment hoists shower chair etc to make eveything so much easier. How does everyone else find travelling? I would love to help and share my knowledge with people

Hi @amj86
Welcome to the community, great post. You might find this recent blog post about accessible holidays interesting.
For me, I often find that there is generally a lack of information and understanding available from holiday providers about the potential needs of disabled people.Online Community CoordinatorConcerned about another member's safety or wellbeing? Flag your concerns with us.

Hello @amj86
Great to meet you. I have been lucky enough to travel all over the world. Some places are trickier than others as you can imagine. The key to it for me is planning and then plan some more! Also, a lesson I learned very quickly was to expect things not to go smoothly all of the time.
There are great companies online now that have agents with knowledge of disabilities like mine, cerebral palsy. Travelling can be daunting but it's so rewarding.Scope
