    I'd probably use 'roll' to describe the bread item in the picture. To me, a lot of the things listen above are different. A cob is different to a bun, which is different to a roll, which is different to an oven bottom, and so on.

    I'd also call it a roll.  Can't say it looks all that appetising in that picture though!  :D

    I'd class a bap as a larger, flatter roll.  And oven bottom muffins are a lighter texture with a very flat, slightly burnt base.

    I did have a bit of a moral crisis with the alt text @Ross_Scope! I had to put it in manually as there wasn't an auto-generated one. I didn't know how else to describe it :D

    Yes and no. You can get different versions of an English accent, but they all sound quite generic. Although I would love one that sounds propper Yorkshire
