Working from Home as an Avon Rep = would it be suitable?

Above.

There was a job advert on Indeed last week, to be an Avon Rep based in my own Home. I could set my own hours to work part or full time on it, but because part of the rules of my tenancy at the Flat says I can't run a Business from there does that include being an Avon Rep?

    Hi you are still working for a company so wouldn't affect your tenancy 

    There isnt a lit if money ti be made doing this unless you get a large client base and usually you have to pay for a starter kit of sample products I think

    Will also involve taking out brochures placing orders then sorting them delivering them and taking payments

    The delivery could be a problem seeing as I don't drive due to my condition.

    I did this many years ago and all i can say is good luck because you may need it. It invloves putting books through peoples doors, leaving it a few days and then return to collect the book. If that perosn isn't in then you'll need to return again for the book. If orders are given you have to return again with that order. A lot of walking, a lot of trouble, talking to strangers too and all for very little money. No thanks, i would never do it again.
    I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.

    It's not only delivery its posting brochures going back to collect then delivering 

    If you can only do walking distance can limit your customer base 

    You can get online orders as well but still need delivering 

    It's not entirely work from home

    I'm surprised Avon is still a viable business nowadays.  Thought the internet and supermarkets would have killed it off.

    Lots of deliveries and if people don't return the catalogues, Avon charge you for it. I did a bit of Avon and shock horror I'm a man.
