    I dislike when people say..

" i just dont know why they dont just ...."

When its a subject they know nothing about and its not that simple otherwise
" they" would have already done it..

Thanks for this thread.  I thought all my opinions were unpopular, but it turns out people on Scope thought so too, and many/most of what you lot have posted are exactly the same as 'I would have written myself.

Music, imposed over anything at all is the really enraging one.  It is so arrogant to smear the producer's personal desert island discs over absolutely every broadcast.  We don't want to hear it dear, run along.  Poor old Prince Charles, trying to give a serious speech about his lifelong interest in climate, but that damnable music is even played over him.   I didn't listen to his mother at Christmas.  Please tell me her address to the nation wasn't drowned in muzacal ketchup?

It's a form of arrogance and power abuse.  Many have suffered, during their lifetimes, from forms of that.   So it is treading on toes in many ways.   Importantly, if only the Disability Equality laws were equal with Racism, it would be prosecuted as unlawful.  Deaf and some types of neurological disabled people are greatly disadvantaged by intrusive noise.

Once, a woman Minister actually stated, factually correctly,  that avoidable noise including imposed  music is a Disability Equality issue, and must be eliminated.  Nobody took any notice.   Was it one of the Eagle sisters?   Or in that time?   As she stated, for deaf/partially hearing people it is hard or impossible to comprehend speech through added noise of any kind, including of course music.  For autistic, nervous, trauma survivors, brain damaged and multiple other conditions, especially those with triggering, it can be extremely distressing and even a hazard, to suddenly be assaulted by loud and/or unexpected and/or unwanted noise, such as a busker especially one using amplifiers, or  the music in shops or cafes, or suddenly  played when the programme is about walking through woods listening to birds.

Anyone who actually wants to listen to music can listen exactly when and where they choose, to their favourite version and at their own personally selected volume. Nobody needs a broadcaster's choice of music to ruin the David Attenborough programmes, nobody wants it, yet it is done merely because arrogant people have power to anything they choose, and this noise-adding is their current fad.

Facebook moderators are a bunch of Clowns! Week before last right, I got exiled for 24 hours for an ill advised comment, yet I report some fool for insulting me on the Xbox community, and all 3 times they tell me it doesn't go against community standards! Pardon? I've seen one sided Moderating on many a forum but come on!

At least Mablethorpe had up to date games in the Amusements last time I went (although that was about 27 years ago to be honest)

Vegemite is far superior to Marmite.

I've never tried vegemite, is it similar tasting to Marmite? I love Marmite on toast.

I bought a jar many years ago..it sat in the cupboard with only a spoonful out. Nothing like marmite in our opinion, but we're all different so I hope you enjoy it.
