Firstly I would re-apply for PIP, I would also contact social services and ask for an assessment they will look at ways they can help you but unless you contact them they won't know you need help. Do you have any family members who can help?2024 The year of the general election...the time for change is coming 💡

HI,I would 2nd the advice about getting a needs assessment and you can start that process here. https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/social-care-and-support-guide/help-from-social-services-and-charities/getting-a-needs-assessment/You said you're challenging the PIP decision, are you at MR stage or Tribunal? I wouldn't advise you to re-apply for PIP without first getting some expert advice because any new decision made on a new claim will overrule a decision made by the MR/Tribunal.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help. -

@Shezz i'm a little confused now, (doesn't take much on a Sunday) did your PIP lapse because you didn't attend the assessment? or were you turned down for PIP?2024 The year of the general election...the time for change is coming 💡

@Shezz so if time has run out on your original PIP claim then you can put a new claim in. @poppy123456 could you confirm that there are no situations where this might be different?
Are you getting help with your mental health issues? And what makes you think you might lose your home?2024 The year of the general election...the time for change is coming 💡 -

Yes, you could start a new claim although using the same evidence you previously used will likely see another refusal. It would be helpful if you spoke to an advice agency near you for expert advice and help if you start another claim. With your UC claim, are you sending in fit notes from your GP to start the work capability assessment off? If you haven't then i'd advise you to do that. For your debts, it will be worth speaking to step change. https://www.stepchange.org/With the standard allowance of UC there won't be any announcements made for that until March.
