I know there is various software out there to help with magnification when using a laptop/computer.
My mum is really struggling with her laptop right now and I wondered if there were any products available that go over the laptop screen to enlarge it, or have I just dreamed this? If so are there any recommendations?

Hi @MarkN88
Hope you're well.
Firstly, could I ask what laptop your mum is using? Is it Windows, Mac or a Chrome OS one?Online Community CoordinatorConcerned about another member's safety or wellbeing? Flag your concerns with us.

Righto @MarkN88
If you go to your laptop's 'settings' application, there should be a tab called 'ease of access' which has a range of visual enhancement settings in it, such as screen magnification and screen reading technology. You can also do things like adjust the colour scheme to suit what works best for your mum's eyes.
You can read information here from the Microsoft site about ease of access.
In addition to this, you can find some useful tips here from the RNIB on setting up a computer to work better for your needs.Online Community CoordinatorConcerned about another member's safety or wellbeing? Flag your concerns with us.
