I have met Dave Hill the guitarist from Slade a few times. I used to live near him and he was friends with my mom and I was best friends with his daughter at school.3

@deb74 he used to come to wolverhampton alot I know noddy holder lived there0

Yeah I'm a bit jealous, I'm a Slade fan from way back! I still reckon Noddy Holder should be made up to a Sir for his services to British Pop and rock.

Hi @lisathomas50. Noddy Holder hasn't lived in Wolverhampton for years!0

I know Robert Plant used to live in Bridgenorth many years ago. Once bumped into him many years ago in the early days of dating my son's mother. She was a big fan at the time and got all excited. I had to admit at the time I hadn't got a clue about who he was lol

Hi @MrAllen1976I I would have to disagree with you on that I don't think celebrities should get rewarded for doing their job unless they do their bit for charity! Dave is one of the nicest men I have ever me. He is so down to earth that until recently he lived in a regular detatched house and his daughter went to the same comprehensive school as me.0

Our @Cher_Scope? Not sure she counts as famous
I haven't really met any famous people properly, but my brother once met the singer Sam Smith at a music festival he was volunteering at, didn't realise who it was, and answered Sam's question of 'do you like my haircut? I'm not sure about it' with 'no mate, I do think it's a bit short on the sides'...1 -
I once saw WWE "Legend" Hacksaw Jim Duggan at a Comic Con, I waved at him but he never even looked up to acknowledge.
Well the guy hasn't been relevant in about 30 years anyway.
